Who handles your information
Tendr is operated by Mike Bawol. Questions about this notice or your information can be sent to hello@trytendr.com.
What we collect
The website application form asks for:
- your email address;
- your venue type; and
- your venue name, if you choose to provide it.
If you join the app beta, Tendr also stores your account email, business name and location, reply-style preferences, and the review and reply text you choose to add. The app records a content-free trail of private-beta steps such as importing a review, generating or changing a draft, copying a reply and confirming it as posted. This includes timestamps, controlled technical failure categories and derived measurements of how much the final copied reply changed, but the event trail does not contain review or reply text. Tendr does not ask for or store your Google password.
If you email Tendr, we receive the information you include in your message.
Why we use it
We use application details to assess and organise the private beta, contact applicants about fit and timing, and respond to questions. We use app information to provide the drafting service, keep each owner’s data separate, secure and support the beta, and learn whether the narrow workflow is useful.
Our intended lawful bases are taking steps at your request and providing the beta you asked to use, together with our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving a small invitation-only product. We do not sell this information or use review text for advertising.
AI drafting and service providers
When you ask Tendr to draft a reply, the review text, rating, business name and relevant reply-style preferences are sent securely to Anthropic to generate that draft. A person still checks, edits and chooses whether to use every reply.
Supabase provides account, database and server-function services; Anthropic provides AI drafting; Formspree handles website applications; and Namecheap hosts the website and product email. These providers process information for Tendr under their service terms. Some processing may take place outside the UK, where provider terms and legally required transfer safeguards apply.
Keeping and deleting information
- Review and reply content is scheduled for automatic removal from Tendr’s active database 30 days after it is added.
- Content-free private-beta usage events are scheduled for automatic deletion 90 days after they are recorded, so Tendr can assess reliability and usefulness.
- You can delete an individual review and its reply inside the app at any time.
- Deleting your Tendr account removes the sign-in and its business, voice, review, reply, device-token and private-beta event data.
- We keep unsuccessful website applications for no more than 90 days after the application decision. Participant contact details are kept while the beta is active or until they ask to leave.
Where an infrastructure provider keeps disaster-recovery backups, deleted records may remain there for a limited period under that provider’s backup-retention settings. Those backups are not used for ordinary product access.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your information, and may have rights to restrict or object to processing or receive a portable copy where those rights apply. Email hello@trytendr.com from the address connected to your application or account. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If the beta changes in a way that affects how information is handled, this page will be updated before the new use begins. This notice is practical beta information, not a substitute for independent legal advice.
